Dynamic Website Design for BBC's 500 Words Children's Writing Competition

This project focused on designing and developing the website for the BBC’s renowned 500 Words Children’s Writing Competition.

The aim was to create an engaging and informative platform that evolves through different competition stages: pre-launch, launch, and post-winner announcement.

The website targets a diverse audience, including children aged 5-11, who are encouraged to explore their creativity through writing; parents and guardians, who assist with registration and navigation; and teachers and librarians, who promote the competition in schools and utilise resources for educational activities.

The result is a dynamic and user-friendly site that fosters creativity and participation.

Sustainable Packaging Redesign for LEGO

The goal was to explore eco-friendly packaging solutions that align with LEGO’s commitment to sustainability while enhancing the user experience.

Through interactive workshops, focus groups, and hands-on activities, we engaged children to understand their perspectives on sustainability, recycling, and what makes packaging fun and easy to use.

Their insights helped shape creative solutions that reduce waste, use sustainable materials, and maintain LEGO's iconic brand identity.

The result was a packaging redesign rooted in real user feedback, ensuring a more sustainable, engaging, and future-forward product experience for young builders.

Reassessing the energy crisis - the middle class are now vulnerable users

We partnered with an energy suppler to reassess the impact of the energy crisis, focusing on the newly vulnerable middle-class users. Leading the bid preparation and SME review, we used AI to better understand and address the behavioural and psychological needs of these users.

Through social listening, qualitative interviews, and large-scale regional vulnerability studies, we developed insights that enabled our client to triage and match customers with the most suitable energy packages.

The result was improved user satisfaction and retention, helping our client achieve a measurable ROI by enhancing customer support and reducing churn among vulnerable groups.

User-Friendly Multi-Card Payment Interface Design for Ladbrokes

For Ladbrokes, we designed a user-friendly and secure multi-card payment interface to enhance the online customer experience.

The project aimed to simplify and streamline the payment process for users who prefer to manage multiple credit or debit cards.

By prioritising ease of use and security, we developed a seamless solution that allows customers to quickly switch between cards, ensuring efficient and hassle-free transactions. This design supports Ladbrokes' commitment to providing a smooth and convenient betting experience.

Transforming the dispute resolution process for UK citizens

We partnered on a discovery project to streamline justice for citizens by enhancing dispute resolution options, such as mediation, to reduce the reliance on costly legal action.

Through in-depth research, including surveys and interviews with citizens, small business owners, and lawyers, we uncovered key pain points: overwhelming processes, unclear pathways, and the stress of navigating the system.

Our UX design solutions aim to simplify these processes, making justice more accessible, efficient, and less stressful for everyone involved.

A User-Friendly Fantasy League Experience

We partnered with the Premier League to design a fantasy league competition portal for its 20th anniversary, focusing on a seamless registration process and intuitive navigation for both experienced players and newcomers. Our in-depth competitor analysis informed a streamlined, engaging experience that set the portal apart.

Through wireframing, prototyping, and collaboration with the visual design team, we created a visually appealing and user-friendly interface. This research-driven approach enhanced user engagement and retention, delivering a strong return on investment by increasing participation and satisfaction.
